Professional Experience
Larissa Cahú works in the preparation, analysis and negotiation of contracts involving the Intellectual Property Law in general, including contracts for assignment, licensing and transfer of trademarks, intellectual works, brands, software, and provision of services of development, support and maintenance, among other of the technology industry and creative economy, as well as consulting and guidance on matters of innovation, Copyright, Industrial Property Rights and protection of intangible assets.Larissa is responsible for supervising the office’s area of Intellectual Property Law.
Academic Background
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, partially attended at the College of Law of the Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble, France); Master of Laws at the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation, FORTEC, in partnership with Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
Other activities
Before dedicating exclusively to the office’s area of Intellectual Property and New Technologies, Larissa was in charge of setting strategies, prevention and evaluation of risks in complex judicial litigation. Provided legal consulting in the areas of Civil Law, Real Estate Law and Intellectual Property Law, garnering experience in the drafting, negotiation and analysis of contracts in general, mainly contracts for services, real estate operations and preparation of intellectual works. Participated as a volunteer in the Human Rights Citizenship Extension Project, developed at the Law School of Recife - UFPE. Member of the Intellectual Property Commission, Section of Pernambuco - OAB / PE.
