Professional Experience
Isabelle Rufino has extensive experience in the analysis, preparation and negotiation of domestic and international intellectual property contracts and new technologies, including contracts of licensing, assignment, transfer and sale of literary, artistic and scientific works, technology, software, trademarks and patents. Provides advisory, guidance and prepares legal opinions on Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies, notably on copyright, image rights, trademarks, software, innovation industry, internet, e-commerce, creative economics, and subsidy projects, as well as tax incentives connected to Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) in the Northeastern Region of Brazil.
Academic Background
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, partially attended at Institut d'Etudes Politiques d'Aix-en-Provence (France); Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Digital Law, Université Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris, France); Certified Information Privacy Professional/ Europe (CIPP/E). Member of IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals).
Other activities
Before dedicating exclusively to office’s area of Intellectual Property and New Technologies, Isabelle worked for about two years in Paris, in the internal counseling of large companies in the audiovisual and communication industries, with emphasis on Intellectual Property Law concerning these industries. Also worked in the audiovisual production of Recife, participating in the executive production of cinematographic works.
