Chosen one of the Most Admired Lawyers of Pernambuco, ranked 2, under the category Comprehensive, by the publication Análise Advocacia 500, in 2016, Gabriela Duque Poggi has more than 15 years of experience in the advising of companies intending to participate in bidding procedures and management of administrative contracts, including public/private partnership contracts and other modalities or public grants. Works in concert with regulatory agencies and accounting offices of the States and Federal levels to advocate on the interests of companies and public managers in accountability, special account rendering and other procedures before accounting offices. Advises companies in administrative procedures before environmental management agencies as well, including licensing of projects, as well as lawsuits that involve environmental matters. She is responsible for the coordination of the office’s specialized areas of Tax Law and Civil Law.

Widely experienced in administrative and judicial litigations, chiefly in the defense of her clients in actions against a corrupt public servant. She was Vice-Chairman of the Commission of Follow-up of Acts of the Public Branch of the Brazilian Bar Association, section of Pernambuco – OAB/PE, over the period from 2012 to 2015. She is a member of the Environment Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, section of Pernambuco – OAB/PE and Member of the State Council of Environment (CONSEMA/PE), in the Technical Chamber of Environmental and Territorial Management. She is a legal counsel of UNESCO under the Agreement by Sustainable SUAPE, in the areas of Environmental Law and Administrative Law. She also worked with tax litigations, both in the administrative and judicial instances.
