Thais de Menezes Farto has over 7 years of experience in advisory and litigation counseling in the area of family law and successions, focused on the planning, prevention and settlement of disputes arising from family and succession issues. Associate of the Brazilian Institute of Family Law - IBDFAM and with extensive experience in the procedure for opening and following up of inventories, as well as the whole litigation routine involving Family Law actions, such as divorce, custody, parental alienation, alimony, paternity investigation, judicial interdiction, recognition and/or dissolution of cohabitation, as well as other actions that require in-depth knowledge in the area of family and succession law. Furthermore, is experienced in the joint work in the tax and corporate areas, in legal counseling for the implementation of succession planning, based on the analysis of legislation and business composition, with the guidance on drafting wills, prenuptial agreements, modification of regimes of goods, contracts of coexistence and sharing in life. Responsible for the coordination of the office’s specialized area of Family and Successions Law.

Before dedicating exclusively to the area of Family Law and Succession, Thais served as a lawyer, providing legal and litigation advisory in the area of civil law, since 2003.

Participated in the social project called “Miniempresa," promoted by the Junior Achievement Association in Recife/PE, aimed at the awareness raising of entrepreneurship among the youngsters during school periods during 2014.
